Data Collection

We collect only the information necessary to provide the Vantage experience: name, email, company, title, and optional profile details you choose to share. If you subscribe to updates, we store your email address and where on the site you signed up. We send occasional updates about Vantage and you can leave the list at any time by replying to any email.

The Public Directory

Listings in the Puget Sound Directory are public by design: the business name, description, category, neighborhood, website, and social links you submit are published so that people and search and answer engines can find your business. Your personal contact details (email, phone) are never published on the listing. Ownership tags (such as Woman-Owned) appear only when you choose them yourself. To update or remove a listing, use the suggest-an-update link on the listing page or email rachael@joinvantage.co and we will handle it promptly.

Data Protection

Member contact information (email, phone) is never rendered as text in the browser DOM. All member connections happen through platform-mediated requests. We never sell or share your personal data with third parties.

Search and AI Visibility

Member profiles and private areas are kept out of search indexes and crawlers. The public directory is the opposite by intent: it is structured so search engines and AI answer engines can read and cite the businesses in it. That visibility is the point of a free listing, and removing your listing removes that visibility.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account, your directory listing, your newsletter subscription, or all associated data at any time by emailing rachael@joinvantage.co.
