Josh Ayala is the founder and CEO of Perfect Day Games, the Seattle indie studio he spun up in 2019 after spending his career inside the studios that built modern mobile gaming. He held senior roles at King Games — the studio behind Candy Crush — alongside earlier work at NCSoft and Z2Live, racking up 20+ years across software development, executive game production, and live-ops leadership. Today, Perfect Day Games operates as both an independent developer and a consulting shop. The team is in active development on EIGHTH ERA, a squad-based mobile RPG, and Tralix, alongside consulting engagements on Minecraft-related projects. Josh sponsors Seattle Indies and is active in the Pacific Northwest game development community. He was profiled in the New Tech Northwest founder spotlight in June 2022 and was on the April 10, 2026 Columbia Tower Club Board of Governors meeting roster.
